Nadarska Cave, the Kiselchovo Waterfalls & Gorlo Canyon

This is the wetter, more demanding cousin of the cave day, and the best of it happens in the river. It opens underground at Nadarska, helmets and headlamps on.

Then it takes to the Lyutinska, wading across the river and climbing straight up against the current, past deep still pools, to the Kiselchovo waterfalls hidden at the top. Waterproof boots are handed out for the stretches in the water, because you will be in the water.

After all that rushing water, the day closes on water gone completely still: a calm boat glide through Gorlo Canyon, between vertical marble cliffs over dark green depths.
